WWE-style wrestling comes to Valley Parade
6:00pm Monday 28th January 2013 in Sport By Sports Desk
UWE Megaslam American Wrestling are bringing their 2013 Live and Loaded UK Tour to Bradford for the first time on Sunday.
The two-hour show at Valley Parade will feature wrestling superstars from England (Paul Malen), Canada, America and Mexico (El Misterio).
Brad Taylor, managing director of UWE Megaslam American Wrestling, said: "Bradford is a new destination for our 2013 Tour.
"We have been looking into presenting our shows in Bradford for a long time as the town has such a rich history of wrestling dating back to Saturday-afernoon wrestling on ITV.
"We bring together the very best from the world of wrestling, and this show will be no different.
"You will have wrestlers from all different areas fighting it out in five exciting bouts - it's going to be fantastic'.
Matches will include a heavyweight challenge, Tag Team Thriller and the ever-popular Royale Rumble match.
The company, which was established in 2008, tours up and down the country each year presenting WWE-style wrestling events in a family show that it says are suitable for all ages.
Doors open at 7pm with bell-time at 7.30pm.
Tickets, which are £10 for adults, £8 for children and £30 for a family of four, can be bought online at www.megaslamwrestling.com or on the door on the night.
For more information, call Brad Taylor on 07557-047667.
