Holders granted bye in Sir James Roberts Cup defence

Sir James Roberts Cup holders Great Horton Church have received a bye into the second round of the Bradford Mutual Sunday School League’s blue-riband event.
They will be at home to Yorkshire LPS on Sunday, May 26. Hallfield, runners-up in 2012, also have a bye before travelling to Bowling Baptists.
Sir James Roberts Cup – First round (matches to be played Sunday, May 12): Greenfield v VVS Laxman, Mandhata v Interlink, Bradford Moor YSA v Bradford Gymkhana A, Muff Field A v Girlington A, Great Horton Meths A v West Bowling, Mayfield A v Omars, Apperley Bridge v Cambing A.
Second round (matches to be played Sunday, May 26): Bradford Indians v Greenfield or VVS Laxman, Muff Field A or Girlington A v Allerton, Apperley Bridge or Cambing A v Mandhata or Interlink, Cross Roads & Daisy Hill v Bradford Moor YSA or Bradford Gymkhana A, Salem Athletic A v Heaton, Great Horton Church A v Yorkshire LPS A, Great Horton Meths A or West Bowling v Mayfield A or Omars, Bowling Baptists v Hallfield A.
Salem Athletic B, holders of the H Broadbent Trophy second-team cup competition, have been drawn at home to either Hallfield B or Bradford Gymkhana B in the second round on Sunday, July 7.
H Broadbent Trophy – First round (matches to be played Sunday, June 9): Hallfield B v Bradford Gymkhana B, Girlington B v Central YMCA, Cambing B v Muff Field B, Buttershaw St Paul’s v Parkside, Yorkshire LPS B v Great Horton Meths B.
