For the second time since the start of December, snow and ice stopped any games being played in the West Riding County Amateur League, and with over 100, league, County FA or district FA games already postponed, the league are anticipating a fixture backlog before the end of the season.

While many of the league's sides have reached the halfway stage in the season, there are three Premier Division teams - Bay Athletic, Marsden and Storthes Hall - who have yet to reach double figures in terms of league games played.

Meanwhile, in Division One, leaders Huddersfield YMCA and strugglers Wibsey have only played nine games, while Hunsworth (eight games) and Halifax Irish (seven games) will be among the clubs playing twice weekly when midweek games start after Easter.

The West Riding County FA Challenge Trophy tie between Campion Reserves and Oxenhope Recreation Reserves, postponed last Saturday, has been re-scheduled for this Saturday at Manningham Mills (1.00), with Campion Reserves' League Cup game against AFC Emley postponed until later next month.

The Bradford & District FA Cup quarter-finals between Fields and Salts and Thackley and Tyersal, have been re-scheduled for Saturday, February 16.
