Farsley could be forgiven for hoping Saturday's game is called off as they face a trip to leaders Mossley in Evo-Stik Division One North.
Neil Parsley’s men lost their place in the play-off zone following a home draw last weekend, and they know both clubs are hungry for points.
Farsley’s desire is to get back into the frame, while the Lancastrians know their grip on top spot is under threat.
Mossley will remain at the summit whatever the outcome as they have a three-point cushion but their nearest challengers have games in hand.
If the game was to be played at a later stagem, there could be a vastly increased pressure on the home side.
