B) You claims Bradford fans are well known for racist chanting? Oh please, I can honestly say I've been going for 16 years and never heard anything even remotely inciting racial hatred! Though I must admit, this is a weird debate.

I wouldn't let anything Obvious says bother you. He's a racist who is desperately and unsuccessfully trying to get some kind of inane point across that it's the "fascist/EDL/BNP" community who are committing all the drug, gun and car crime in the city.

The overwhelming majority of the news articles relating to these crimes tell us otherwise, but Obvious is finding this difficult to accept. This is why he is overdramatising a small and irrelevant pub scuffle into a fascist/nazi issue.

I am a Derby fan but am from Bradford and my 2 brothers are city mad (and my mum ) when i lived in Bradford i used to go and watch city more times than i did Derby .Home and Away it was cheaper i was also there in 85 (rip) The city fans i used to hang out with all knew i was a Derby fan and i never had any trouble Never one do i remember any racist incidents on my travels .i saw a few fights mind ya . Once again the idiot known as Obvious has managed to drag people into his own little world to argue with them. The best way to deal with him and his views is to totally ignore him and never ever post a response. Eventually, even he will realise that talking to himself confirms his psychiatric status.

Point number 1 this situation was so badly managed it was ridiculous, if a VIlla fan did headbutt anyone he should have been ejected and arrested.
Clearly the whole pub in this aggressive way was ridiculous.
There was no information on why this was happening and we where all treated like criminals.
This kind of behavior by the police INSITES violence.
The majority of fans in there where regular traveling villa fans and where not looking for trouble are defiantly not racists.
I will add i spoke to lots of Bradford fans all seemed great, great support great fans we look forward to welcoming you to villa park just leave your coppers at home.

I have been going to watch City since I was 12, originally standing and now sitting in the kop. I have never once heard a racist chant.

I would say that the West Yorkshire Police are the worst in the country. The West Midlands police arent much better either though.

These people had come to watch a game of football and have a good day out with their mates. Nothing illegal in that and unless it could have been established that the individuals the police were harrassing were doing something wrong then the police should have left them well alone, instead of trying to get their arrest figures up.

There's never been any chants about '**** Bashing' from the Ointment, even as far back as the 80's Asian lads were present and I don't think they'd have mixed with people who were chanting about 'bashing' them. Hooligans they may well have been, but racists they most certainly were not!

You can add South Yorks police to that list as well mate, they seem to think the miners strike is still happening and every football fan is out to cause trouble.
I'm sick and tired of the old bill still treating everyone like it's 1983, they know who the fans that are likely to cause trouble are, yet every fan gets treated in the same way, doesn't matter if you're with a family, an o.a.p or a 13 year old kid, the coppers still treat people like sh*t, then they wonder why they aren't respected!
