Tough opener for defending champions Whetley Lane

Whetley Lane begin their defence of the FA Umbro Vets Cup with a group game against Burnley side Langho at Kirkburton AFC on Sunday (2pm).

Manager Sean Kerry knows it will be a hard match as it took a penalty shoot-out to separate the teams at the semi-final stage last season.

Former Bradford Park Avenue strikers Dean Calcutt and Mark Wilson are in fine form for Whetley Lane.
