Premier Division top two Steeton and Bay Athletic go head to head on a day of rearranged West Riding County Amateur League matches on Saturday.

Three top-flight sides – Marsden, Ovenden West Riding and Golcar United – are hoping to play their delayed West Riding County FA Challenge Cup ties at the fourth time of asking.

This has led to a fixture reshuffle, with Steeton and Bay paired together at Summer Hill Lane for a clash that was itself postponed earlier in the month due to frost.

Neither side has played since due to the recent weather problems and now top spot going into the new year is at stake.

Steeton, who have played two more games than their opponents, currently have just a one-point advantage over Bay and a much-inferior goal difference.

But they do have the psychological advantage of having already beaten their title rivals 2-1 in the reverse fixture at Huddersfield.

Elsewhere, third-placed Campion visit Storthes Hall, Tyersal are at bottom side Overthorpe SC and Salts have a rearranged fixture away to Lepton Highlanders.

Division One leaders Huddersfield YMCA are without a fixture, so Ventus-Yeadon Celtic can take over at the summit if they win at home to mid-table Tingley Athletic.

Wibsey, who have slipped to the bottom of the pile, host Storthes Hall Reserves and would climb above their fellow strugglers with a victory.
