Adult membership renewals will cost £43 for the year, with OAPs, ladies and intermediates costing £22 and junior membership remaining the same at £5. LISTERHILLS AA

Applications are now being taken for Leeds Amalgamation membership, which is considerably cheaper when obtained through our club than from some other sources. Members who fish the Aire & Calder Navigation will be interested to know that two wheelchair-friendly stages have been installed at Rawcliffe Bridge, with others to follow at Great Heck once the car park has been modified. We still require members to act as watchers on the Leeds-Liverpool Canal.

IDLE & THACKLEY AA

There is an open match on River Swale at Swainby on Sunday. For bookings call 01274-615016. Membership books for 2013 are now available from tackle shops at the usual outlets. Subscriptions remain the same as last year; £17 adults, £10 concessions.

HEWENDEN AC

Last Sunday’s Christmas cheer match was won by Ian Fieldhouse with 2lb 2oz. Second was Andrew Healey with 1lb 8oz and third was Paul Kitching with 1lb 5oz. Well done to all as this was fished under bad conditions. A big ‘thank you’ to Scott at KL tackle for the great prizes he donated. The next match will be the Pike Christmas cheer on Sunday, December 30, with a 9am draw in the carpark, £10 all in on the day. All members welcome. Bingley AC Weather permitting there will be a work party at Coppice Pond on Sunday, December 30 to install another fish refuge. If Coppice is frozen, this will be moved to Settler dam for bank clearance work. All volunteers welcome. Eldwick Reservoir is still fishing well for perch.

BRADFORD & DISTRICT SEA AC

The trip to Liverpool last Sunday had to be cancelled owing to lack of interest. Our Christmas cheer meeting is at the New Inn, East Bierley, on Tuesday (8pm), featuring a raffle and buffet. New anglers will be made most welcome.
