Rikki Sheriffe is back at The Shay on a one-year deal
Halifax have re-signed former Bulls winger Rikki Sheriffe on a one-year deal.
The former Ovenden junior first played for his home-town club in Super League as a teenager during the 2003 relegation season and represented them for the following two seasons before joining top- flight Harlequins in the winter of 2005.
He was back at The Shay briefly in 2006 on loan, but returned to London and then spent two seasons with the Bulls.
Recently, he has been playing rugby union for Newcastle Falcons.
Sheriffe, 28, whose brothers Jode and Jessjo have both played for Fax, will compete for a place on the flanks with first-choice wingmen Rob Worrincy and Wayne Reittie.
