Undercliffe’s Luke Holroyd has been banned from the JCT600 Bradford League for three years, two of which are suspended, for “inappropriate behaviour”.

The wicketkeeper misbehaved as a spectator at the original staging of this year’s Sovereign Healthcare Priestley Cup final at Spen Victoria.

His suspension runs from Saturday, April 20 next year, and the league’s chief executive officer David Young said: “The Priestley Cup final is a showpiece event for the league and it is time to nip this kind of behaviour by a very small minority in the bud.

“The ban is no reflection on Undercliffe, who have been very helpful throughout.”
