Forward pair's return set to boost Otley
Otley hope to have two of their most influential forwards back as they bid to snap a run of three successive defeats at Darlington Mowden Park on Saturday.
Prop Toby Williams and flanker Jonathan Matthews were both absentees for the 27-23 home loss to Leicester Lions but are expected to return for the National League Two North clash.
Williams has been troubled by an ankle injury, while Matthews missed the Leicester game through illness.
Coach Tom Rock said: “Both of them have been playing well. Toby always gets us going forward with his strong ball carrying, while Jonathan has been one of our best footballers.
“It is remarkable to think that he is a hooker by trade but he has played very well in the back row.”
The Scotland under-20 player is expected to slot in alongside Rob Afoa Petersen and Daniel Temm, who both came back into the team against Leicester.
Wharfedale make the long journey to the Forest of Dean to face Cinderford in National One without the services of Aaron Myers and captain Chris Steel, who were both injured against Ealing Trailfinders.
Bradford & Bingley will look to climb out of the relegation zone in National Three North when they entertain mid-table Lymm.
The corresponding fixture last season served up a points feast as Bees were beaten 49-43 but the match was a dead rubber which ended the campaign.
The Wagon Laners must bounce back from their seventh defeat out of nine after West Hartlepool came from behind to snatch a 30-29 win last week.
Another team looking to bounce back from defeat is Bradford Salem, who need to beat Leodiensian at home to reignite their Yorkshire Two campaign.
The Jenny Laners are going great guns in second place but are still eight points behind leaders Old Rishworthians.
Old Grovians are expecting a backlash when they visit Mosbor-ough, who were knocked off top spot in a suprise defeat to Marist.
Fly half Adam Weaving is among several Grovians facing a late fitness test.
