Goals galore from young hot-shots
4:50pm Wednesday 31st October 2012 in Sport By Sports Desk
Wyke Wanderers under-nines won one and drew one of their two weekend games
Tyler Marsh bagged a double hat-trick as East Bowling Allstars under-12s blitzed Hebden Bridge 13-1 in the Huddersfield League.
Bridge struggled to get out of their own half but one such incursion led to a penalty and this gave them hope as they made it 2-1.
But East Bowling defenders Callum Wade, Cayden Kendal, Jordan West and Jake Ingall were rarely troubled again.
Six-shooter Marsh was backed up by an Axel Lusandu hat-trick and further goals from Ahsan Khalid, Callum Troy, Sabiyal Malik and Owen Pickersgill.
Charlie Smith led the way with four goals as Wyke Wanderers under-11s powered to a 12-0 victory away to Clifton B.
Wyke were 6-0 up by the interval with strikes from Smith (2), Noel Jones, Josh Grant, Luke Delahunty and an own goal.
Jones missed a penalty in the second half but made amends by completing his hat-trick, while Smith added two more goals and Grant and Delahunty doubled up.
Jacob Smith struck a hat-trick for the second week running as Wyke Wanderers under-nines A team won 3-0 at Rastrick.
The Wanderers B team had to settle for a 4-4 draw, with Matthew Leaper’s double backed up by Logan Jean-Jacques and Ranganai Muza.
