Bradford Dudley Hill are left playing the waiting game

Tony Huby created the best try of the game for Bradford Dudley Hill
Bradford Dudley Hill face an agonising wait to see if they have fulfilled their National Conference League Division One promotion dreams following a splendid 42-26 success at Eccles.
Hill had to win the game to keep in the hunt, and they set about the task in hand with gusto.
Wingman Jamie Steward was soon in at the corner, followed by another effort from packman Steve Lamond.
Stand-off Tony Huby then engineered the best try of the game to send Lamond in for his brace, soon followed by another fine effort from Steward for his second of the game. Wingman Neil Wall added two conversions to put Hill well in command at 20-0.
Eccles hit back to close the gap before forward Dale Lee crossed for another converted touchdown to send Hill 26-10 up into the break.
Hill continued to dominate proceedings on the restart with further tries from Adam Jefferson, Lewis Evans and Nathan Kitson, with Wall on target twice to keep their noses well in front.
Hill now must await the results of Egremont Rangers, who must win all of their last three games to finish a point in front and claim the third promotion spot.
