UNBEATEN Craven League table toppers Bingley Congs are through to their second Wynn Cup final in two years after a comprehensive win against Crossflatts.

They will meet Sutton-in-Craven, who triumphed in a tightly-contested affair at Wilsden.

Congs won the toss on a sunny afternoon at Beckfoot Lane and Aidy Dibb didn't hesitate in choosing to bat. Andrew Copping (27) started well for Congs before falling to the bowling of Alex Bradbury (3-15). A flurry of wickets then fell and it took Tom Keighley (48no) to steady the ship and take Bingley to a par score of 156 all out.

Bradbury and Qamar Ayub (3-28) were the pick of the Crossflatts' bowlers, with the ever-present Jim O'Hara (2-35) also contributing.

In return, 'Flatts only managed 67 thanks to the ever-consistent Congs attack. Brothers Alex (11) and Nathan Bradbury (11) looked to be settled at the crease but some tidy work from Kiwi overseas Sam Porter in the field dismissed Alex, and Nathan soon followed thanks to the bowling of Neil Copping (5-18 from eight overs, including four maidens).

The wickets then fell quickly for Crossflatts and Qamar Ayub (16) was the only batsman to offer any kind of resistance. The recently-returned Harry Greenhalgh (3-29) also enjoyed a good spell with support from fellow opener Matty Roberts (1-20).

Elsewhere, Congs' opponents from the previous day, Sutton-in-Craven, came out on top at Wilsden, who won the toss and chose to bat first, posting a healthy 186-8 from 40 overs thanks to Dipesh Mistry (45), Sam Mitchell (40), Stuart Wilson (32) and Doug Richardson (31).

Ryan Ridehalgh (3-37) and Chris Walker (3-41) bowled well for Sutton-in-Craven, who knocked the runs off with two overs to spare. David Snowden (64) top-scored for Sutton with Johnny Wilkinson (40), Sam Solley (33) and opener Ryan Ridehalgh (20) also chipping in.

Dipesh Mistry (3-32) impressed for Wilsden but the visitors triumphed by five wickets.

The two winners will now battle it out in the final on August 7 at Bradley.
