BRITISH Airways' decision to cut another service from Glasgow to Heathrow is very disappointing.
It will inconvenience both business people and holidaymakers.
It reduces flexibility and is likely to cost them time and money because they will be forced to stay in London longer than they would under the current flight schedule.
BA claim Scottish passengers are important to them and at the prices they charge that is certainly true.
The company has a business to run and must make a profit.
But if it's genuine about valuing its Scottish customers, it must review the changes to its schedule or passengers will simply choose alternative transport. Give cash where it's deserved
THERE are few things more encouraging than seeing a deprived community win against the odds That is exactly what the people behind HubSports at Wellhouse have done.
They have worked extremely hard to fund and run a centre which is providing a vibrant resource centre for the area.
These people are not alone in what they have done. All over Scotland other groups have worked just as hard to achieve similar goals.
What they have in common is that they deserve more cash from the authorities to sustain what they have created.
