WHILE joint-leaders Thackley Lightning were struggling to a 2-1 home victory over basement boys Sutton, fellow under-15 front-runners Keighley Shamrocks Knights were notching a 6-0 win at mid-table Eccleshill United.

The Knights led 2-0 at half-time in the Craven, Aire & Wharfe League Division B contest but really turned the screw in the second half with some excellent football to deflate the Eagles.

Goals came from Brandon Chawira (3), man of the match Dhanyaal Ahmed, Asim Rehman and substitute Abdal Al-Wakeed Hussain.

Division 12A leaders Baildon Trinity Dynamos ran out 3-1 winners at second-placed Westwood, Courbon Carr hitting two stunners and Louis Anderson also firing home from distance.

Louis Turner, Harvey Weston-Beyer and Will Robinson were all impressive but Tyrone Tapuosa was man of the match for his all-round game.

Albion Sports' under-eights captain Muhammad Mustafa certainly knows his way to goal.

He has already scored over 40 goals in nine matches as they have won nine out of nine in the Bradford & District Keybury League Green Division.

This included five in their latest victory, which was 8-1 over Bradford United. Also on target were Bobby Joe (2) and an own goal.

Dudley Hill Rangers had Silsden as opponents at most age groups with mixed fortunes.

The under-sevens trailed 3-0 at half-time at Silsden but fought back to draw 4-4, man of the match Lewis Windle leading the way with a hat-trick to go with a William Schofield strike.

At under-nines level, the Blues and Reds lost to Silsden Dragons 3-1 and Silsden Rams 4-2 respectively.

The under-tens scored 13 against Silsden Seconds, with hat-tricks for Callum Thornton and George Edge to go with braces by Cormac O'Brien and Joel Beaumont. Jodie Tiffany, Dominic Parish and an own goal completed the rout.

Rangers' under-11s retained top spot, despite failing to take advantage of ten corners in ten minutes on a full-sized pitch.

Ironically, opponents Burley scored from their first corner but, before half-time, Karlson Ogie and Spencer Dunk (2) had given Rangers the lead.

Dunk's left foot completed what could be their team goal of the season after a brilliant interchange of passes between Anton Tavernier and Jake Softley.

Ogie then ran riot with a second-half hat-trick to make the score 6-1.

All four of Baildon Trinity Dynamos' younger teams won. The under-eights Sky side defeated Calverley 9-3, with Callum Rhodes netting five, Harry Evans two and Myles Harris and man of the match Dennis Weston-Beyer one each – the latter player's goal being his first for the club.

The Blues also won 9-3 at Leeds Maccabi, where Rocco Pinto-Smith (6), Joseph Fieldhouse, Joseph Ramsden and Oscar Oates-Wood got on the scoresheet.

The under-nines Blues triumphed 7-1 at Eldwick Hawks, Freddie Forrester bagging a hat-trick. Archie Smith (2), Parth Sunill and an own goal completed the tally, while man of the match was George Robinson.

Passing was the key for the under-nines Sky, who won 8-0 at Eldwick as goals came from Alfie Turner (2), Hamish McCallum (2), Ben Cockcroft – with a stunning chip – Harvey Menzies, Rory Holmes and Max Paterson.

Jack Craven and Ellis Joseph were on target for Bradford Park Avenue in their 2-0 victory over Queensbury Cougars in the Huddersfield RCD Junior League's Under-12 Division B, Josh Missin taking the man of the match gong.

Avenue also won the second match 4-1 with strikes by Tom Taylor (2), Harry Wood and an own goal.

In Division 5B, Lindley Lightning beat a depleted Bradford Park Avenue B 7-1, Clark Bolton netting the consolation and Alistair Welch making some superb saves on a day when star man Lewis Emmott was injured in a robust tackle.

Bradford Warriors were at Drighlington B in a battle of unbeaten teams in Division 4B and won 2-1 after going a goal behind.

Roberto McFarlane got the equaliser and Brandon McDonagh bagged the winner for the Warriors, for whom man of the match Ben Cockroft changed the match.

Wibsey Lions moved five points clear in Under-13 Division B after a hard-fought 7-5 win at home to Hebden Bridge.

The Lions were 3-0 down within six minutes but Jay McLoughlin's penalty, after Bailey Evans was brought down, woke them up. McLoughlin, Evans and Nathan Aylott then netted as they revived to 4-4 by half-time.

Wibsey were in control in the second half, with Adam Wood, Callum Fairclough and McLoughlin making the game safe before Hebden scored a consolation.

Wibsey nearly ended Batley's 100 per cent record in Under-11s Division Six but conceded three late goals to go down 4-2.

Jay Cunningham had put Wibsey 1-0 up at half-time and Batley equalised soon after, before Cunningham scored again to put Wibsey back ahead. Unfortunately though, Wibsey could not hold on.

Warriors' under-eights Blue team lost comfortably at Bingley Madrid, while the Whites went down 3-0 at Greetland.

The under-sevens entertained Challenge, who were expected to provide a big test but were swept aside 6-2. Goals came from Cale Gomersall (2), Alfie Gibson, Jason Duffy, Tommy Swain and man of the match Luke Bateman.
