OTLEY are expecting a bumper crowd for their SSE National League Two North match at home to Luctonians tomorrow.

The Cross Greeners – without centre James White, who is getting married – are holding an open day and admission is free from noon.

There will be junior rugby from 12.30pm and a two-course lunch in the clubhouse (1.30pm) before the main attraction starts at 3pm.

In addition, there will be a live band, an outside bar, barbecue, bouncy castle, Army display and competitions, while after the game there is a happy hour from 5pm prior to the Super League Grand Final being shown on the big screen.

Having lost 26-25 to a last-minute try at Harrogate last weekend, Otley will also want to make up for going down 19-17 at home to Luctonians last season. However, Otley did win the away fixture 23-17 in 2013-14.

Only five points separate fifth-placed Chester from Birmingham & Solihull in 15th and the statistics between Otley and Luctonians this season could hardly be closer, with both having ten points and a scoring deficit of 19, but Otley are three places higher thanks to their extra victory.

BRADFORD & BINGLEY, who have still to crack the code for winning away matches, hope to have lock Richard Hughes and utility back Richard Scull available after injury for their home game against Percy Park in SSE North One East, while prop Ryan Wederall faces a late fitness test on a groin injury.

Bees head coach Stuart Dixon, musing on their latest on-the-road setback at Pocklington, said: "We are still coming to terms with losing Jason Moss and Adam Malthouse from our pack of last season."

SSE Yorkshire Division Three leaders OLD GROVIANS are at Harrogate Pythons – incredibly their fifth away fixture in six league matches – and include a well-known name in their back row.

Harry Rowan, younger brother of Gloucester's former Leeds Carnegie and Otley flanker Jacob, makes his debut.

BAILDON, who notched their first league victory of the season last weekend at home to Burley, hope to continue the good work in another derby at Old Modernians.
