Albion Sports 3 Worksop Town 2
A DANNY Facey brace helped Albion Sports to a narrow victory over Worksop Town at Throstle Nest last night.
James Firth opened the scoring when he headed in Lee Elam’s eighth-minute corner and Facey doubled Albion’s lead when he controlled a long through ball and slotted in just before the half-hour.
Worksop got back into the game just after the hour mark when Mitch Husbands finished a flowing move.
Facey lobbed over the visitors’ keeper to restore Albion’s two-goal lead but Conor Sellars netted the goal of the game with a stunning 35-yard free-kick.
