GUISELEY won their penultimate friendly fixture but it was only by a narrow 1-0 margin at Clitheroe.
The hosts pushed the Lions hard but a single second-half goal by Adam Boyes proved enough for Mark Bower's men.
Liversedge eased to a 3-0 home victory over Beeston St Anthony. All the goals came in an 11-minute spell in the first half, with Brook Newton beginning and ending the scoring and Billy Grogan also on target.
Silsden battled for a 2-2 draw at Harrogate Railway Athletic. The Cobbydalers recovered from a goal down in the first half but, after taking the lead just before the hour mark, they were pegged back again.
Farsley are back in action just two days after hammering Hemsworth MW 8-2 as they make the short journey to Garforth Town tomorrow night.
