JAKE Mullaney has signed a one-year deal to become the Bulls' second new signing for 2015.

After Castleford prop Dan Fleming was recruited on a two-year contract from next season, Salford full back Mullaney has also come on board.

Brett Kearney is yet to make a formal announcement on his future but he is expected to head home to Australia at the end of the season.

He will be replaced by Mullaney, who has scored two tries and kicked 24 goals in 12 Super League appearances for the Red Devils this season.

Mullaney, 24, will arrive for pre-season training in October and comes with NRL experience, having previously enjoyed stints with Wests Tigers and Parramatta Eels.

He boasts experience at full back, stand-off and on the wing, giving head coach Jimmy Lowes versatility in the Bulls' backline.

"I am really looking forward to getting back playing consistently and am excited at the prospect of helping the Bulls make it back into Super League," said Mullaney.

"Bradford is massive club and I was well aware of the success enjoyed here while growing up in Australia.

"Back home, the Bulls are regarded as still one of the biggest clubs around and so I am really pleased to be joining.

"What I want from here is a strong pre-season with Bradford, giving me the best possible chance of cementing a place in the team next year.

"It is early days at this stage but one thing I can assure the Bulls supporters is that I will be giving everything for the club."

Lowes said of Sydney-born Mullaney: "Jake is a real talent and we are looking forward to seeing what he will bring to the team.

"He has been set back by injuries this season, meaning consistency has been an issue for him.

"But I am sure he will knuckle down with us later this year, when the players start pre-season training, and prove his ability in a Bradford shirt.

"The squad is beginning to take shape but there is still a lot of work going on behind the scenes as we look to piece things together for 2015 and beyond.

"As the club have already stated, we are hoping to have in place a quality team which will be able to challenge those placed in front of us next year."

The Bulls have also been heavily linked with Featherstone winger Etu Uaisele, who has joined Sheffield on loan until the end of the season after falling down the pecking order with Rovers.

Richard Moore is another player to have been linked with a return to Odsal but last week told the T&A that he has not spoken to the Bulls.
