BRADFORD'S Ruby Bower has collected her first medal of the European Junior Diving Championships in Italy.
The Esprit member, who also represents City of Leeds, took bronze with a total of 334.35 points in the platform event behind Leeds clubmate Lois Toulson, who scored 375.60.
Meanwhile, former Esprit member Sam Thornton (City of Leeds) continued the medal run for the Brits.
Thornton and James Heatly (Edinburgh Diving) enjoyed an excellent start to the three-metre synchro final with over 101 points for their first two dives on their way to a 289.74 total.
They dropped points for their front piked two-and-a-half somersaults with two twists but won their bronze with a high-scoring inward two-and-a-half somersaults piked.
In the three-metre springboard, William Hallam (City of Leeds) finished tenth with 384.40 points.
