Salem Athletic lead Division One of the Bradford Evening League by two points.

Saltaire's overseas player Israr Ullah took 4-8 as Tong Park Esholt were dismissed for 72, and the home side lost five wickets in their reply, with Brett Kinsey taking 3-19.

Salem are above Denholme and Shelf, who are joint second.

Denholme’s good form continued as they restricted Bingley Congs to 68-9, Josh Atkinson (39no) and Charlie Davy (30no) then securing a ten-wicket win.

Shelf also won by the same margin, with Amer Ayoub (47no) and Zahir Shah (51no) passing Smart Moves’ total of 117 inside 11 overs.

Ross Carnall took 3-9 as Thornton kept John Breare to 77-9 in reply to their 123-6.

Buttershaw St Paul’s lost their first game of the season at Oakworth.

St Paul's must have felt confident when they posted 122-5, with James Sawyer (35) being the main contributor.

However, strong batting from Jack Davison (50no), Adam Smith (33no) and Brannon Lawn (29no) saw the home side claim a nine-wicket victory.

Thackley’s comprehensive win at Mayfield, where Joe Tate (4-12) and Paul Jarvis (4-1) proved unplayable in bowling the opposition out for 27, means they now lead Division Two by a point.

Shipley Providence and Wibsey Park Chapel remain in close contention with home wins over Daisy Hill and Queensbury respectively, while Keighley fell to a surprise seven-wicket defeat at Stonewhite.
