Keighley potter Chris Melling has been beaten in the last 32 of the China Open pool event.
'The Magician' disappeared from the draw after an 11-8 defeat to Radoslaw Babica.
He had earlier won two rounds in Group B to qualify, beating Corey Deuel 9-2 and Shaun Wilkie 9-7.
Melling is staying on in China to play in the final stages of snooker's Wuxi Classic, where he will meet the winner of a wild-card match between Andrew Norman and Zhao Xintong on Tuesday, June 24 (2.30pm).
