Danny Bridge recalled from Bradford Bulls by parent club Warrington Wolves

Bradford Telegraph and Argus: Danny Bridge Danny Bridge

Danny Bridge has been recalled by parent club Warrington Wolves and returns to the Halliwell Jones Stadium with immediate effect.

The 21-year-old Ireland international has spent the past two months with Bradford Bulls, making eight appearances in First Utility Super League.

He today departs Odsal and Bulls head coach Francis Cummins said: “Danny has been very good for us and has served us well over the past eight weeks or so.

“I would like to thank Warrington for allowing Danny to come here and do a job for us, while, at times, playing out of position.

“Obviously, losing him is a blow for us – but loan signings are never truly guaranteed.

“I believe Danny will have benefitted from the experience and game-time received here.

“On behalf of the Bulls, we wish him well for the future.”

You can not really blame Warrington. He would certainly not have improved his game after the Wigan performance. To learn and improve your game you need experienced heads around you and unfortunately at the moment there is nobody with that experience who has been there and done it all at Odsal.I ,do however firmly believe that Marc Green will turn the club around.Maybe not this season but I feel sure he will succeed. He obviously is his own man and that is the way he should stay.I am sure he does not need to hear some of the comments on this site to help him.

Marc green seems the worst person that could be in charge. He has openly said he never intended on owning the club. Then he says his main priority is to stay in super league, this can only be done by improving the squad. But what has he done. Well he's brought in a load of old men in suits to sit in a office, we got a new shop/ ticket office and a free agent that fell out with his previous club. Him and cummins have said, that after the Easter period/challenge cup weekend, players will start to become available, so let's wait and see, but I ain't holding my breath. #relegated

According to what i have read on this forum so far today, the club is in freefall,Fc as lost the dressing room, all the loan players have all been recalled. What a mess!!.In any sport the first priority is to stabilise the club,It cannot happen overnight, give the new owner a chance.SF as stated the obvious there are no players available at this moment in time that are better than what have at the club.If some of you guys out there who are wasting your time sniping and bickering with one another, know players that are available ring the club,i am sure they would like to hear! The only other thing that i have to say,is that sadly,it seems FC is out of his depth but who would take the job on?at this moment in time it's a poisoned chalice but if we cannot improve the squad we need someone with some idea how to freshen things up.

Exactly Northern Pig,
There are none available. To those who say money talks, not all of the time. The good players are all signed up,why would they take a chance moving for the sake of a few quid.Marc.Green will no doubt be reluctant to fork out top money to try and entice players to break their contracts. At the end of the day if they are prepared to do this why would you want to take the chance on them doing exactly the same to you.Anybody with any sense would not.

Can't disagree. Our hands are tied, which means that, this season, we're resigned to "stagnation and relegation".

Is there any wonder the players are merely going through the motions?

It's not yet May and the season is as good as over.
