Bingley-based Advanced Digital Institute has announced the appointment of Professor Ian Duncan Robertson as non-executive director to its board. Professor Robertson is renowned in the areas of monolithic microwave integrated circuits and radio frequency integrated circuits design and has been a major influence in the world of wireless consumer electronics, in particular mobile phones, satellite navigation and Wi-Fi. He has published several books, more than 100 academic journals and 350 research papers. He has also been awarded research grants from major multi national organisations such as Nokia and Ericsson.
