Revolution Show Corps in action
Queensbury-based Revolution Show Corps marched to victory at the weekend in its first competition of the season.
The British Youth Band Association event was held at the Mount Pleasant Stadium in Batley.
Revolution competed in division two and won trophies for best percussion, best brass and best colourguard.
Their show had a pirate theme including Treasure Island, Shiver My Timbers and Songs of the Quays. Four new members were competing with the band for the first time – Jordan Pullen, eight, Alex Cunningham ten, Daniel Cunningham, 11, and Rhianna Shaw, ten.
The band welcomes new members. They meet on Fridays at 7pm at Queensbury School.
