Pupils at Heaton Primary School, Bradford, learned about graphic design from a creative expert.
Neil Beattie, who runs Expo Design in Cottingley, spoke to a class of year five pupils about branding, before getting them to create their own flyers.
Pupils and volunteers at the school in Haworth Road run 18 ‘businesses’ between them and their finished designs are now being printed as flyers to promote what they do.
Pupils recently received up to £50 each for their businesses from Education Bradford, after putting together plans for ideas such as car washing, jewellery making and a fashion show.
Profits from the businesses will go towards developing woodland behind the school.
