SIR - It's with deep dismay I read about the possible scrapping of bus route 846 (T&A, September 22).
Of course there are pensioners who regularly use this bus, it's their food shopping lifeline at Morrisons. How else do they get there?
Not everyone has access to cars, and with winter near, the service is vital to elderly, disabled and workers.
I understand the financial side but can a way round be found first?
