SIR - S Pickup seems to think that I am confused over the contents of the Brexit ballot paper, however, reading his response, it appears that he himself is the confused party.
He describes the EU as a 'Victorian Paradise'. Has the EU really been around for so long?
As for anyone with a grasp or common sense, realising that Brexit included the single market and the customs union, most people who don`t follow such things would be blissfully unaware of these. Indeed, most of the ministers involved seem to think that we can access the single market with ease because the EU needs us more than we need them.
Unfortunately they are in for a very rude awakening (if Brexit actually happens).
