SIR - I would like to heartily congratulate everybody at the Telegraph & Argus for the magnificent 150 years service to Bradford.
I have been an avid supporter and reader of the paper for 60 years. Prior to retiring, I travelled the length and breadth of the Country, nothing satisfied me more than to buy a local evening newspaper and read up on local news.
The T&A is always up front with local and national news, and unbiased in political reporting. l have on occasions written the odd article for readers' views columns, on current affairs, the editor at the time, Perry Austin-Clarke, was a very fair and just editor.
The fact that the T&A is 150-years-old is a testament to its past editorship and journalists, the best outside (and inside) Fleet Street. Once again, to all involved: good work. You do the city proud.
Harry Watson, Bittern Court, Clayton Heights
