SIR - The figures produced in the Telegraph and Argus (July 5) by the Health and safety Executive regarding fatalities at work are cause for concern, with 144 deaths over the past 12 months and those from asbestos related diseases 2,595 in Britain in 2016.
Who says we don't need health and safety?
Finally, whilst we glory in this summer's hot weather let's remember the firefighters who are dealing with an unprecedented number of outside fires, despite staff losses, cuts in services and less fire stations.
