SIR – With reference to Remainers, mainly messrs Cole and Hall, they repeatedly refer to the referendum result as one of a very fine margin or very close, etc.
Of the 650 constituencies in the referendum, 428 voted for Brexit with 222 voting to remain. Just how can this be described as a very fine margin result?
The Remainers also repeatedly refer to the result as a Tory Brexit. Is it seriously being suggested that the majorities in the 428 Brexit constituencies were all Tory voters?
It is a great pity that our great little country that has been created by the great generations gone before us is now being decried by persons that should know better.
