SIR – We have had some great comedy duos in former times – Morecambe and Wise, Cannon and Ball, Little and Large, etc.

It’s a refreshing change to see some new blood on the circuit.

I tuned in t’other evening to what I thought was the news but it turned out to be the Merkel and Trump show. It has got to the stage where the news has become a must watch – what has he been up to now?
