SIR - Through your newspaper I would like to say thank you to two organisations.
My wife collapsed at McDonalds at Five Lane Ends on Thursday, March 16, and the staff acted very promptly in getting an ambulance to get her to the BRI.
At the BRI in the Accident and Emergency Department they were very aware of the need to apply the treatment she required. They did tests and a CT scan all within three hours of arriving. The staff were very polite and talked us through all the procedures that they carried out.
When she was discharged the same day the doctor was very helpful and made us aware of what we had to look out for in case she had to come back for further investigation.
Once again thank you to all concerned at both organisations.
