Policy on obstructions getting in way of sense
SIR – After reading the T&A on Friday, February 24, I was shocked at the article about the Council telling the owner of the vintage shop on Victoria Road to remove a pram off the pavement as it was obstructing.
Bradford Council are nit-picking, why don’t they go to John Street in town and see the whole pavement taken up by groceries, or up Leeds Road where there are suitcases, fruit and veg outside most of the shops and nothing is said to them.
The world has not gone mad, just Bradford.
