SIR – They just don’t get it in the Parliamentary Labour Party, do they? The problem is not Jeremy Corbyn’s leadership but themselves.

There are too many so-called left-wing middle class Oxbridge graduates, some even public schools, pursuing a trendy career path in the hope of better things to come later. Worker reps they are not.

Mr Corbyn is surrounded by traitors who either refuse to serve under him in, or resign from, the Shadow Cabinet, if not sacked for overt disloyalty over Brexit, etc, making him look like the subject of the poem Brother Square Toes, by Rudyard Kipling, better known as If, with the opening line “If you can keep your head when all about are losing theirs and blaming it on you, then you’ll be a man my son”.

Why so many such individuals are in Labour at all remains a mystery to many ex-Labour members and activists like me.

The people chose Corbyn as leader, so MPs must accept that and get on with the job in hand or Labour will go nowhere next time.
