SIR – CLIC Sargent is the UK’s leading support charity for children and young people with cancer and their families.
Last month, colleagues at Morrisons supermarkets in Yorkshire and Humber held a ballot for their new charity partner, and we are delighted to announce that we won!

We can’t wait to start fundraising with the wonderful people at Morrisons, and welcome all their employees and shoppers in Yorkshire to join CLIC Sargent’s fight for young lives against cancer.
Last year our teams in Yorkshire supported 565 children and young people and awarded £99,806 in financial grants helping families cope with the costs a cancer diagnosis brings.
Our nurses, social workers and other frontline staff work tirelessly to limit the damage cancer causes beyond a child or young person’s health.
The £7 million this partnership is anticipated to raise will transform many young lives.
