READER LETTER: Why don’t I get a clean recycling bin for £33?
SIR - Having paid Bradford Council £33.60 to replace a stolen green bin and then waited over four weeks for delivery, I was horrified to receive a grubby old bin that had most definitely seen better days.
I fully appreciate the recycling aspect but I would have thought that £33.60 would have bought me a new bin or at least covered the cost of cleaning and sprucing-up the circa 1999 one that was delivered.
