SIR – I wish to comment on what a delightful, stunning floral display is present in Baildon village this year.

The Baildon in Bloom team deserve tremendous credit on their hard work in creating a colourful heart-lifting display when after a day’s work I return home and drive through the village and see the roundabout.

The safety barrier displays and hanging baskets created and maintained by the team instantly bring a smile to my face.

Well done to all concerned and I hope their yearly efforts continue and are not to be part of any cuts as this display is something stunning that all the community can share in.

Many local people have passed remarks on this lovely display.
