Caterpillar tale led us down garden path
SIR – I apologise for offering incorrect and misleading information in my letter dated August 27, about the caterpillars I had seen locally.
I put my error down to my ignorance, ill-health and a badly regulated imagination.
The situation seems to have been rectified to some extent by a timely letter to you from Mr Hutton.
