SIR – It seems there are others who agree with my views. D Hanson (September 7) then B Watson (September 9) said more stations are needed along the Calderdale Line.
He says the traffic is horrendous, but adds that the Spen Valley Line be re-opened to cure traffic problems in that area.
Mr Watson must have witnessed the flow of traffic along Cleckheaton Road, just as D Hanson does every day by living on this road. He also agrees with my past letters. Bradford is a dead end regarding stations and should have been connected years ago.
Low Moor is under construction but what about those living in Wyke? No bus service goes anywhere near this new station.
The Spen Valley doesn’t have a rail network, why is this? Mr Watson says it should be re-opened but it would be of no use to Low Moor as the station is being built the wrong side of Cleckheaton Road.
The new station should be built with access to the M606. There is already a car park, built for the failed Transperience project.
