SIR - Young Sam Brown of Otley who has a rare condition, not of his fault, and costly, is still waiting for the NHS hierarchy to make a decision as to funding.
The NHS provides free treatment for self-inflicted conditions such as obesity, alcoholism, drug addiction so why can’t they provide for Sam and others like him?
