SIR – Most interesting to hear the interviewer on BBC Radio 4 on the PM report of March 10 showed when conducting a report on cyclists failed to realise that in Bradford cycling paths were created by the local Labour council years ago.

As an OAP of 79 I have never had a problem with cyclists when they ride on the pavement and when it comes to the cost of education, I would point out that cycles are not confined to bells as a well-known cycling store also sells, or did years ago, horns instead.
