SIR - David Green tells us that the Council is investing no money in what many consider to be a superfluous office project.
What he has not told us is that the rates will be milked by a cast iron commitment to pay an exorbitant rent for years to come, and probably relative to accepted building standards in Bradford, for longer than the new building will be usable.
No wonder your front page photo (T&A, March 2) shows Messrs Young of McLaren Properties and Rawlings from Chillington Land grinning from ear to ear.
