AS October 1-7 is Animal Action Week we want stricter enforcement of anti-cruelty laws or to endorse the funding of additional shelters for homeless animals,
The awful letters I receive of cruelty to all sorts of animals show that many have been beaten with baseball bats and been too injured for the vet to save them.
That is only the tip of the iceberg, which is why the Government need to enforce a stricter law for all the animals, and bring the people who have abused animals to be jailed.
