A BECKENHAM school has impressed Ofsted inspectors.

Woodbrook School, in Hayne Road, which teaches pupils with severe and complex learning difficulties, was found to be a “good effective school”.

The inspectors said: “The curriculum is relevant to the pupils' needs. Pupils behave well and have good attitudes to their learning. They are well prepared for life after school.”

Chairman of governors Alison Holbrook said: “The governing body wishes to congratulate all the pupils and staff.”
