PIZZA lovers tucked in for charity last week at the Pizza Express, Beckenham.
In the pizza-chomping process, the pizza restaurant raised a cool £1,000 for St Christopher's Hospice on its charity night.
Even the staff chipped in by donating half of the evening's tips.
Topping off the evening was the music provided by local jazz musicians, including the News Shopper's very own Chris Howes, who entertained diners as they merrily ate away.
Pizza Express manager Giacomo Riefolo presented St Christopher's Hospice fundraiser Susanne Dowswell with a specially-designed pizza showing the grand total raised throughout the evening while Chris Howes took a break from tickling the ivories and Gordon Webber looked on.
