Robbers target jewellers
Robbers armed with crowbars and baseball bats raided a jewellery shop in Brighouse leaving staff shaken.
Three men, described as white and wearing balaclavas, threatened staff at Niemantas V jewellers in Commercial Street and made off with a tray of jewellery at about 2.45pm today.
The suspects escaped along Brighouse Road towards Hove Edge, Hipperholme, in a black Subaru Impreza estate bearing the stolen registration plates N542 JKH.
No one was injured in the raid.
Witnesses to the robbery or anyone who saw the vehicle in the area is asked to contact Calderdale CID on (01422) 337085 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
