Arsonists are believed to have set fire to a caravan full of car tyres.
Firefighters from Batley and Cleckheaton were called to the blazing caravan, which was parked near a derelict building in Stanley Lane, Liversedge, at 9.30pm, yesterday.
A spokesman for West York-shire Fire Service said the fire was fully ablaze when they arrived and crews spent more than an hour at the scene.
He said the fire could have been started deliberately.
