A gang of three are sought by police in connection with three assaults.
The suspects, two men and a woman, approached an 18-year-old woman as she left a pub and walked towards Horncastle Street in Cleckheaton.
An argument broke out and the teenager was hit by one of the men and taken to Dewsbury District Hospital with facial injuries.
A short time later, two men, aged 27 and 45, were attacked after they left a takeaway restaurant, also in Horncastle Street.
The older man was struck on the head with a hammer by a man who was with another man and a woman.
The group of three ran off and were pursued by the 27-year-old man who caught up with them in Cheapside and was then hit in the face with a hammer.
Both men were taken to Dewsbury District Hospital as a result of their injuries and were released a short time after.
The attacker in each incident is described as a white man, in his mid to late 20s, of slim build. He wore blue tracksuit bottoms and a baseball cap.
The second man is described as white, with dark hair and of heavy build.
The woman was white, in her early 20s, 5ft 8ins, and wore jeans with knee-high boots and a tan colour leather jacket.
Anyone who may have been in the area at the time of the attacks, which occurred at around 1.15am last Sunday, should contact PC Joanne Coldwell at Dewsbury Police Station via 0845 6060606.
